- Description
- The USCG Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to continue membership in the Cooperative Research Navies (CRNAV) Working Group on Dynamic Stability through calendar year 2005. It is anticipated that a non-competitive sole source purchase order will be issued for this study to: Maritime Research Institute Netherlands (MARIN) unless additional sources are located. All responsible and responsive sources are invited to express their interest and ABILITY to provide the above-described membership via fax or e-mail to Mr. Orofino, no later than 08/27/04. All responsive and responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by this agency. It is the Government's belief that only MARIN and/or their authorized dealers/distributors/repair facilities can provide the required membership and ensure the proper fit, form and function of all its components. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above membership are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate within 5 days of this announcement. However, other potential sources desiring to furnish other than MARIN/CRNAV Membership are required to submit the following information: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered alternative membership (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics) or 2) Data that the offered membership has been satisfactorily used by the government. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements.
