Description

The purpose of this amendment is to respond to vendor questions received to date. QUESTION #1: Does the gear have to be new in box, or can it be refurbished? ANSWER: New. QUESTION #2: I need to know if this solicitation is set aside for small business. ANSWER: Not set-aside for small business. QUESTION #3: I am not an authorized Sun Reseller; I am an independent dealer. I offer unused equipment that comes with one-year warranty. The equipment comes with no licenses. Am I eligible to bid this solicitation? The equipment can be maintained by a third party maintenance company. ANSWER: ONLY Sun or a Sun Authorized iForce Partner will be considered for award of this solicitation. QUESTION #4: Saw the opportunity posted on FBO for the Sun Server and was wondering why the NAICS Code is tied to Software Publishers (511210). Shouldn?t it be either 541519 or 423430? I would like to bid this but don?t fall under that NAICS code. I don?t see software on the bid whatsoever. Can you clarify? ANSWER: The NAICS Code for the Server Manufacturer is 334111 ? 1000 employees, for Resellers 423430 ? 500 employees. Offers are due 27 Aug 04, 10:00 a.m.., Andrew T.
