- AK PRA-DENA 10(21) & (22), TOKLAT RESTSTOP BANK STABILIZATION, DENALI PARK ROAD MILE 68 SLIDE REPAIR, Denali National Park and Preserve, Denali Borough, Alaska. THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING CONSIDERED FOR A TOTAL HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Prime Contractors who are HUBZone small businesses and who intend to submit an offer for this solicitation, MUST submit their information by e-mail to contracts@mail.wfl.fhwa.dot.gov or by fax to 360.619.7932 for receipt by COB on August 30, 2004. (NOTE: Should your HUBZone firm fail to respond by this deadline, you may still submit a bid/offer.) Your submission must include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a Prime Contractor; (b) your date of HUBZone small business certification; (c) a statement of your bonding capability, including both single and aggregate totals; and (d) a listing of your experience in work of similar type and scope, including contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and the names and phone numbers of points of contact for the contracting entity. This agency will NOT contact respondents for missing data, so it is imperative that you include sufficient detail on all of the above points. A decision on whether this project will be pursued as a HUBZone small business set-aside or on an unrestricted basis will be posted as a modification in FedBizOpps. THIS WORK CONSISTS of installing steel sheet pile along the bank of the Toklat River at the proposed Toklat Reststop (Mile 53). The project will also involve grading, base, drainage and a geotextile-reinforced earth wall at Mile 68. The project length is 0.08 miles. THE PROJECT INCLUDES construction survey & staking; contractor quality control and assurance; construction schedules; 1700 SQYD clearing and grubbing; demolition & removal of 2 culverts; 1800 CY excavation and embankment; 800 SQFT mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls; 600 ton crushed aggregate; 2700 LNFT driven piles; 120 LNFT culverts and drains; 300 LNFT horizontal drains; and other smaller items of work. PROJECT IS LOCATED approximately 177 to 192 miles South of Fairbanks, Alaska. Work shall be completed by September 30, 2005. Estimated PRICE RANGE is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
