Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request number is F13SPS42191400 as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-24. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is an unfunded request, all quotes are hold harmless for the purchase of the following items: 1 Each 4? x 6? Steel Attendant booth with trailer. Unit to be constructed of minimum 2?x2?x.083 structural steel tube frame with R-10 insulated, 16 ga galvanized steel walls and roof. Unit to be designed for exterior use with 8? fascia 3? overhang on all sides. Additional items include, 11 ga steel plate floor covered with Ester Alkyd nonskid paint, one steel framed slideing door with complete hardware, one sliding window opposite the door, fixed windows on all other sides, all windows glazed with ?? tinted temperate glass, interior florescent light with wall switch, 120/240 volt 8 pole 125 amp single phase wired to an exterior weather tight outlet for connection to an extension cord, two duplex outlets under a 20? deep steel shelf, 1500 watt electric wall heater and one color paint and finish. 2 Each Exterior mounted dual bulb flood lights with interior wall switch. 1 Each 8000 BTU wall mounted air conditioner/heater. 1 Each 4000 Watt generator mounted to the front of the trailer deck and a power cord receptacle wired from the breaker panel to the booth exterior., for the Security Forces Squadron at Maxwell AFB AL. The acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 423390 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated either by reference or full text and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Item (Oct 2000) applies to this acquisition. Submit signed and dated proposals on company letterhead. The Government will make an award to the lowest priced, responsible, contractor whose proposal conforms to the solicitation. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jul 2002) and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items (Nov 1995) with the proposal. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the internet, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 (Feb 2002), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is incorporated into this RFP; 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside and 52.219-6 Alternate I, Notice of Small Business Set-Aside (Jul 1996). FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (May 2002) and FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive orders?Commercial Items (Apr 2004) (DEVIATION) are applicable. The following additional FAR clauses under paragraph (b) are applicable: 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers With Disabilities; 52.222-37, Employment Report on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.225-13, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases; 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer?Central Contractor Registration; 52.228-5 Insurance ?
