- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to award a Full and Open Competition for a Brand Name Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to overhaul three (3) each, 500-ton Trane Centrifugal Chillers (Model CVHE050). This is a combined solicitation for commercial items IAW the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F7SPSS42290100. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811310. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement is as follows: Furnish CLIN 1, Overhaul three (3) 500-ton Trane Centrifugal Chillers (Model CVHE050). Requirements include: Inspect all functional assemblies including motors, starters and other pertinent equipment and operating systems associated with the operation of the Model CVHE050s. Replace all worn parts to include turbine fans, bearings, O-rings, and packing. Overhaul must be accomplished using established TRANE standards and specifications. IMPORTANT: any quotes provided must guarantee prices are good through at least 31 December 2004.
