- Provide all administration, supervision, personnel, services, materials, equipment, tools, and transportation necessary to perform Interim Grounds Maintenance, Turf care for Fort Benning, Georgia until full-scale requirement is awarded. Basic servic es include mowing, trimming, edging, grounds raking, cemetery maintenance, and herbicide application on an as AS ORDERED basis. The period of performance will be 01 October 2004 through 28 February 2005. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Hubzone busi ness concerns. For determining business size on this project, the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 / $6 Million. It is the Government's intent to issue the solicitation and amendments (if any) electronically via the Internet. Upon release to the public, entire solicitation will be released solely on the Internet at http://www.benning.army.mil/doc (paper copies will not be available). All prospective offerors are responsible for obtaining any amendments, the solicitation or any other information from the Fort Benning Directorate of Contracting (DOC) website. It is therefore the responsibility of the Contractor to check the DOC website frequently/daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. A site visit is anticipated for Thursday, September 02, 2004. Contractors wishing to do business with the Government must be registered in the CCR for any awards resulting from solicitations issued after 01 January 1998 or the contractor will not be eligible for awar d. The requirement applies to all solicitations and awards, regardless of the media: paper, oral, fax, electronic, etc. Contractors may register in the CCR through the world wide web at http://www.ccr.gov/ or 888-227-2423.
