Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6,as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9124V-04-T-0033 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Feder al Acquisition Circular 2001-24, effective 19 Jul 2004. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. NAICS and size standards are as follows: 314912-500 Employees; 336413-1,000 Employees and 339999-500 Employees. This RFQ is for thirty (30) each of the following: UH60A Tail Rotor Hub Covers, UH60A Rotor Hub Covers and UH60A Nose/Windshield/Cockpit Door Covers. Covers will be of a durable product able to withstand extreme desert (heat and sand) and winter (cold and moisture) field environments. N ose cover will protect all of front of aircraft to include windshield and will cover cockpit doors, extra care must be taken to ensure the aircraft is protected and that the cover is not abrasive. Delivery date required, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ARO, but not l ater than 22 November 2004; delivery will be to Montana National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility, 3333 Skyway Drive, Helena, Montana 59602, reference provision 52.247-45, F.o.b. Origin and/or F.o.b. Destination Evaluation (Apr 1984). The Government wi ll award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offe rs: Price, Time of Delivery, and Past Performance. Time of Delivery and Past Performance, when combined, are significantly more important than price. Offerors are requested to submit past performance information to include persons of contact on their last two contracts of similar product. The provision of FAR 52.212-3 with its Alt I and the clause of 52.225-4 Buy American Act-Free Trade Agreements- Israeli Trade Act Certificate (Jan 2004) apply to this solicitation; the provision and certificate need to be completed and returned with your offer.
