Description
CONTACT Barbara Johns,Logistics Management Specialist,732-532-3032. I am forwarding the information below to be posted to FedBizOps. Please review and if you have any questions feel free to comment or contact me. CECOM/GUARDRAIL weapon system teams p lans to enter into an agreement for support of the GUARDRAIL Airworthiness test requirements. We are doing extensive research to replace obsolete components and prior to fielding to the units we need to perform various certification tests, see the list be low, to ensure the items can be certified for use on the aircraft. The solicitation will be for testing and technical support and in support of these efforts. Upon completion of the testing we would require a formal test report for submission to our cert ification agency. The contractor is asked to consider support to this testing requirement for a period of at least 5 years. The contract will be a Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for 1 year with 4 option years. The contract would be incrementally funded based on delivery orders for specific equipment that required the testing. All interested parties considering submission in support of this request for technical support should submit a white paper no greater than 10 pages in length and should include at a minimum the following information: 1) Provide evidence of the contractor??????s facilities and experience with type of testing. 2) Provide evidence of past performance on similar projects in support of the requested work. This docu mentation may be mailed to US Army, Commander CECOM, AMSEL-LC-IEWS-R-GR, Building 1201W, Fort, Monmouth, NJ 07703-5211 to the attention of Barbara Johns. Documentation may also be sent to electronic address barbara.johns@us.army.mil. To be considered as p art of the market research database, documentation should be received no later than 30 September, 2004. List of required tests; EMI Testing in accordance with MIL-STD-461E, Table V, for Aircraft, Army Including Flightline, or Aeronautical Design Standard A DS-37A-PRF. Environmental Testing as described below in accordance with MIL-STD-810F, Part 2.
