- This notice is released to announce a U.S. ARMY Corps of Engineers District, Mobile requirement for a Grounds Maintenance Service Contract. The work to be performed under this contract will be for the Southeast Regional Medical Command Facility, Bui ldings 40707 and 40709, 40707 40th Street, Fort Gordon, Georgia. It will include grass mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup. The Request for Proposal is for a firm-fixed price service contract to be competed under solicitation W91278-04-T-0087. The basic contract is estimated to commence on 15 September 2004 through 14 September 2005 with four one-year option performance periods. A site visit is highly recommended. This action is set aside 100% for Small Business concerns under NAICS code 561730, size s tandard $6 million. Estimated price range of this project is under $100,000. Mr. Gene Curtis is Contracting Officer for this project. Bid documents are available on or about 7 September 2004 on the Internet at http://www.sam.usace.army.mil with a bid opening date of 13 September 2004. Mrs. Jacalyn M. NOTE: Bidders must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) which is required by Federal Regulations (See FAR 52.204-7004), therefore you must be CCR registered to be awarded thi s project and payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Immediate registra tion is recommended in order to be eligible for timely award. Bidders, subcontractors and Dodge/Plan Rooms are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet. Registration instructions are available on the Internet at http://www.sam.usace.army.mil. Click on contract bids. Neither telephonic, mailed , nor faxed requests will be accepted. The plans and specifications will be issued on the Internet only and will be provided free of charge. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed-paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. For this job, a small business is defined as having average annual receipts of less than $6,000,000.00 for the past three years.
