- Description
- The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Southern Plains Regional Office, Anadarko, Oklahoma, is soliciting for proposals from licensed attorneys, law firms, and tribal court advocates to provide prosecutorial services during fiscal year 2005, depending upon Availability of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year, FAR 52.232-19. Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, materials, equipment, services or facilities to perform the Prosecutorial Services for the Southern Plains Regional Office, Anadarko Agency, Court of Indian Offenses. The Prosecutor will be based at court a minimum of two (2) days per week from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. or until excused by the Agency Magistrate from October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005. The Government anticipates awarding this as a firm fixed price contract as a base year with four option years. This is being advertised as a small business set aside. Contractor is required to be qualified as a Tribal Court Advocate or Licensed Attorney. Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, experience and knowledge of Tribal and CFR Courts, the Indian Child Welfare Act, and jurisdiction in Indian Country. Due date for receipt of proposals is Friday, September 17, 2004, 3:30 P.M., in the Branch of Contracts, Southern Plains Regional Office, Anadarko, OK. Section 7(b) of the Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450E) and 41 CFR 14-1.354 requires that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaskan individuals and that preference in the award of the subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaskan economic enterprises.
