- Description
- The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for research and development expertise in the area of program management, documentation, systems engineering, space and aerospace systems, ground systems, technology transfer, facilities support, quality control, power system development, Radio Frequency (RF) support, ntegration and test activities, computer networking and system administration, equipment maintenance and advanced concept exploration and associated efforts required by the government to complete current programs and to support future SSDD projects and programs. Personnel proposed to work on the resultant contract shall have a Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance or shall be eligible for the aformentioned clearance prior to contract commencement. The contractor shall have at least a TOP SECRET facilities clearance and SECRET storage capabilities prior to contract commencement. Parties interested in setting up teaming arrangements for the purposes of submitting a proposal in response to this synopsis should e-mail Ms. Lisa Fleming at fleming@contracts.nrl.navy.mil. Please provide the following information in your e-mail: Company Name and Address, Point of Contact, e-mail address and phone number, and your preference of either being a prime contractor or subcontractor. A list of all companies who submitted an e-mail expressing interest in teaming will be provided in an attachment to the Solicitation when it is issued. Should a company decide not to provide his/her preference, a list of those parties will also be included as part of the same attachment. The Period of Performance will be one (1) year with four (4) one-year options. Period of Performance will be one (1) year with four (4) one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541710. The NRL uses Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue RFPs and amendments to RFPs. Paper copies of the RFP will not be provided. The response date published in this synopsis is the current estimated date. The actual due date for proposals will be stated in the solicitation when issued. See Note 26. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
