- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure a base period and four, one-year options purchase orders for laundry services for the cleaning of the following Government owned items: shop rags, drop cloths, towels, lab coats, and shower curtains in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) (Attachment A). All laundering service to be performed at the Contractor?s facility. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The applicable NAICS code is 812332 and the associated small business size standard is $12.0 million. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. Only one award will be made from this solicitation via the issuance of a firm-fixed price simplified acquisition order. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-04-0668. All interested parties are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be made on a SF 1449 (Attachment B) or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, telephone number, fax number, tax identification number, and Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number. If this service is available under a GSA Contract; please provide the Schedule number and GSA Contract number. All quotations are due by close of business (COB) 09/09/2004. Quotations may be mailed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Procurement, Room 705-A, Attention: David J. Mork, 14th and C Streets, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228-0001. This request is for a requirement which is scheduled to occur in Fiscal Year 2005 (10/01/2004 through 09/30/2005) as such the following FAR Clauses applies and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.232-18 AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS, FAR 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS ? COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Attachment C), FAR 52.212-5 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVE ORDERS ? COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Attachment D). Amendments to the RFQ will be published in the same manner as the initial synopsis/solicitation.
