- The purpose of this amendment is to respond to vendor questions received to date. QUESTION #1: In CLIN 0012 and 0014 you are asking for us to provide 1 year service quantity 36 months and 72 months. I am not sure what this means. Pricing is based on a number of years not months. Can you help me with this? ANSWER: The quantity is 3 each and 6 each times 12 months equals 36 and 72. Each is for 1 year. QUESTION #2: What would be the best means of sending in our response for the Bluecoat Solicitation? US Mail? Fax? Or email? ANSWER: Any method is okay as long as it arrives by the date and time specified in the solicitation. QUESTION #3: I need to know where I have to send my proposal or if I have to access any web page through which I will send my proposal. ANSWER: Send your proposal electronically to brenda.geist@dla.mil or mail to DLA, 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Stop 6220, Attn: DES-ACC, Brenda Geist, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-6220 or facsimile 703-767-1172. QUESTION #4: Which documentation do you need with the Proposal? ANSWER: A cost proposal along with the Representations and Certifications specified in the Federal Business Opportunities announcement. QUESTION #5: I have found both of the FAR documents 52.212-1 and 52.212-3, but cannot find the DFARS 252.212-7000. Would it be possible for you to send me that document to ensure we have this on file. ANSWER: It can be found at the following web site http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/html/current/252212.htm. QUESTION #6: Is there a particular reason why this was changed to “Unrestricted” status? Is there a current vendor doing business with the account that is not classified “Small Business”? ANSWER: After further research it was determined that the manufacturer of the product is not a small business, thus the acquisition was not eligible for small business set-aside status. QUESTION #7: We are a small business, and were planning on bidding this opportunity. Why was the small business set-aside removed? ANSWER: See response to question #6.
