- Description
- The Office of Federal Occupational Health Service through the Division of Acquisition Management, Strategic Acquisition Services is soliciting firms to manage private provider networks. The primary responsibility of the Contractor shall be the administration and management of the FOHS network of private providers. In that capacity, the Contractor shall coordinate and facilitate health and wellness services for Federal Government employees, utilizing a network of quality private providers maintained by the Contractor, in all 50 of the United States. Additionally, the Contractor shall be able to provide private provider services outside of the United States, to include Guam, Puerto Rico, Canada, and additional international sites, as the need for such services may arise. This service provision may be accomplished though a variety of health and wellness service facilities: hospitals, occupational health clinics, medical clinics, specialty and other types of medical providers, mobile vans, and on-site medical services. The Contractor shall distribute the necessary forms, documents, and supplies to all private providers, as specified by FOHS. The Contractor shall receive and process the completed documentation of patient care upon receipt of completed services from the private provider and shall review all materials for accuracy and completion of requested services. The Contractor shall also assist FOHS in assessing the quality of services through standard as well as innovative continuous quality improvement techniques. This may involve the use of questionnaires, instructional brochures, and conference calls. The solictation will be uploaded on August 18th. This requirement is being solicited as full and open competition.
