Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with addtional information included in this notice. This announcement constitues the only solictation; proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Medical Waste Disposal Services: Contractor shall provide: 1) Removal and disposal of infectious medical wste from VA Medical, Providence, RI and three Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located in New Bedford, MA; Hyannis, MA;and Middletown, RI all in accordance with the requirements of the SOW. 2) Service to collect, dispose, and replace reusable contminated sharps containers at the VA Medical Center, Providence RI. Contractor must possess current licenses/permits required by the states of MA and RI. The contractor must specialize in medical waste disposal services. References may be required. See SOW for detailed description and clauses
