Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is issued on an one hundred percent small business set-aside.NAICS Code 562211. The Navy Drug Screening Laboratory, Jacksonville, Florida requires Services for a Biomedical Hazard Waste Disposal for the disposing of Drug Testing Urine Bottles. Period of performance is 01 October 2004 thru 30 September 2005. Containers shall hold ninety-six gallons of waste at one time. Containers shall not be larger than 3 feet 4 inches tall, 2 feet 10 inches long and 2 inches 1 inches wide. Container shall have a flip top with handle and is lockable. Two wheels located on the back for easy mobility. This type of container is called a Schaefer Container. Price shall include the price of Biomedical disposal bags. Pick up approximately eight (8) containers per pick up and delivery of approximately eight (8) containers, three times per week. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. There shall be at least eight to twelve containers on hand at all times. Biomedical waste shall be burned in a qualified facility in accordance with state and federal regulations.
