YOU MAY FAX OR MAIL YOUR REQUEST ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LM-L, CAROL HARDAGE, CONTRACTING OFFICER, FAX 256-846-7629. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCE PTED. PRON: AX4J0189AX, NSN: 1615-00-060-1062, PN: 204-011-400-11, QUANTITY: 84 each, applicable to the UH-1 Airframe/Pwer Train Unit, with deliveries to East Rockaway, NY 11518-1235; Glen Burnie, MD 21061-3219; Norfolk, VA 23502-1917 and Texarkana, TX 75507-5000l. This item is restricted to Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., Cage Code 97499, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 84 each, 360 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Production Lead-t ime without First Article Testing is 84 each, 240 DACA. Production Lead-time with Alternate II Clause is 84 each, 300 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitation by accessing the website ww.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of so licitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. NOTES: 22, 23 and 26.
