- This request for quotation is for the acquisition of 6,346 Pairs of Gloves, Leather, Gaunlet, Linemens (NSNs: 8415-00-274-2431/2/3/4) to be manufactured in accordance with Specification ASTM-F-696-02 dated 07 May 1990. This acquisition will be a total Small Business Set-Aside. The destinations are Mech, PA and Tracy, CA. Deliveries are scheduled for 120 days After Date of Award and shall be FOB Destination. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Origin. All materials used in the fabrication are to be furnished by the successful offeror. All responsible sources may submit a quote which DSCP shall consider. This RFQ will contain DOMESTIC RESTRICTIONS, which means all components and all manufacturing must be obtained/performed within the United States. All contractors MUST be registered in the CCR in order to be eligible for award. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(a)(7) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/home/15 days after this posting. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFQs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFQs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFQs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFQ Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. Gateway technical assistance is available at admin_support@pgmail.daps.mil. ****Important Note on Foreign Content: The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as The Berry Amendment impose restrictions on the DoD acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012 and specialty metals (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
