Description

In support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) the Fleet Industrial Supply Center is soliciting for general purpose hot rolled 1045 steel plates, in accordance with ASTM A36. 14 each at 96? wide x 348? long x 2.25? thick, and 7 each 84? wide x 348? long x 2.25? thick plates are required. The delivery date is 6 weeks ARO. FOB Destination Puget Sound Naval Station, Bremerton, WA 98314. FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 will be utilized. This acquisition is 100 percent set aside for small business sizes of 750 employees or less, under NAICS 331491. The Small Business Administrations Nonmanufacturer Rule Class Waiver, in effect as of 8 June 2004 applies. The government anticipates the solicitation will be posted to NECO on or about 1 September, with offers due on or about 13 September. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of quotes is available through the NECO website. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
