- Description
- The USDA Forest Service intends to award contract for cutting and decking dead ponderosa pine trees burned during the Hensel Fire on June 8, 2002. Dead standing trees within unit boundaries shall be cut and skidded to pre-determined landing locations and decked for the purpose of reducing fuel loading in five units. The projects are located approximately 32 miles west of Wheatland, Wyoming. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System. Evaluation factors for award are price, technical capability, and past performance. This solicitation is Set Aside 100% for small business. The NAICS Code for this project is 115310 and the Size Standard is not to exceed $6 Million. Solicitation is anticipated to be published August 2, 2004.
