- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture, National Finance Center, intends to issue a sole source award under the Simplified Acquisition Procedure (SAP) to Broad Vision for Technical Support, License renewal and maintenance on the RS Quick Silver (RS-QSLVR15U-YSC). This is a Sole Source purchase because of the proprietary nature of the software and equipment and no other supplier or service will satisfy the agency?s requirements. Broad Vision owns the copyright to the required software package and no other source is known to have authorization for the license, maintenance and technical support of this software or equipment. No solicitation is available. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one responsible source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
