- Description
- The Department of Labor is requesting information regarding potential commercial-off-the-shelf solutions for its requirement to electronically process budgetary information described in the attached MS Word file. The entire announcement and attached MS Word file are available for downloading on the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOps) website under this announcement number, listed with requirements for the Department of Labor, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM), Washington, DC offices. This is a request for information not a request for proposals. There are no evaluation factors and a contract award will not be made from this announcement. Funding for this requirement has not been identified; however, interested parties with off-the-shelf systems are encouraged to respond to this notice. Responses to this announcement will be utilized for DOL planning and budgetary purposes, so your response is encouraged in order to maximize the number of alternatives which can be considered by the DOL. If and when a requirement from this announcement is funded, a purchase description and/or statement of work will be provided under a request for quotation or request for proposal under a separate, new announcement. The government's requirement is described in an MS Word file attached to this announcement and available for downloading from the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOps) website under this RFI number. Please provide your responses in hard copy to the following address not later than close of business August 31, 2004: Department of Labor, OASAM Office of Procurement Services, RM N5416 (G. Robertson), 200 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20210. Due to the elevated security conditions, packages should be sent by overnight delivery or regular mail rather than utilizing a courier or attempting to make hand-delivery. If a courier or hand-carried package is delivered, the courier or person making delivery must be instructed to call the procurement point of contact and wait with the package until it is accepted by the procurement office. Do not leave a package with the security officers or otherwise unattended. Please do not send e-mail responses because the files may be too large to be successfully received by e-mail.
