- STARS IMPLEMENTATION AT FIVE (5) AIRPORT TRAFFIC CONTROL TOWERS, LOCATED IN THE HOUSTON, TEXAS AREA. This project is set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 - ($28.5M). The project magnitude is between $250,000 - $500,000. The work consist of, but is not limited to, an equipment room addition at the David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport, Electrical work at the George Bush Intercontinental TRACON facility, installation of monitors monitor mounts at all facilities, and addition of approximate 624 square-foot stucco finished concrete masonry unit building addition with the required HVAC split system and electrical system. Night work is anticipated for all work conducted in cabs and TRACON. All work shall be in accordance with the specifications and plans. The following go/no go criteria will be used in determining if a GENERAL CONTRACTOR is to receive specifications and plans. (1) SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED SIMILAR PROJECTS IN A COMMISSIONED/OPERATIONAL FAA FACILITY. (2) MUST PROVIDE NAME OF FACILITY AND POINT OF CONTACT WITH TELEPHONE NUMBER WHEN REQUESTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. A MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE/SITE VISIT WILL BE CONDUCTED. ALL REQUESTS FROM GENERAL CONTRACTORS MUST INCLUDE: NAME, ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBER, FAX NUMBER AND POINT OF CONTACT. Location of work: 1. Houston William P. Hobby, Houston, Texas 2.
