- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT; HOWEVER, A REQUEST FOR FUNDING IS INCLUDED IN THE FY04 END OF YEAR SPEND PLAN. AWARD IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDS BECOMING AVAILABLE ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 30, 2004. ALL QUOTES NEED TO BE VALID UNTIL 30 SEPTEMBER 2004. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F43ARS41490100-RM is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. The ncorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 (18 JUN 04). . This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns and is under North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code 334310, with a size standard of 750 employees. Contractor shall provide 80 each David Clark Aviation Headsets with electronic noise canceling technology. The Headsets must be better than or equal to the David Clark Headset H-10-76XL/XP manufactured by David Clark Incorporated, Brand name. The contractor shall provide manufacturer?s technical data to support any ?or equal? offered in order to evaluate. AWARD SHALL BE MADE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS WHO HAVE REGISTERED WITH THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION AT: www.ccr.gov/. Please send any questions or requests to 97 CONS / LGCB, ATTN: Robert P.
