- Description
- Operational Contracting, US Air Force Academy intends to award a sole source purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures to Dr Jason Roney of the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs to Determine the Momentum Coupling between a Plasma Actuator and the Surrounding Fluid at Different Reynolds Numbers through Experimental Analysis. This service is being acquired for the Department of Aeronautics, US Air Force Academy. The qualifications necessary to perform the work include knowledge of aerodynamic testing techniques, and physical location in the Colorado Springs area, in order to use the equipment and facilities at the USAFA Aeronautics Research Center. Supplies and/or services are available from only one responsible source. No other type of supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. If no response is received by August 9, 2004 to the effect that comparable supplies and/or services are available that would be more advantageous to the Government than obtaining these supplies and or services though a sole source procurement with Dr Jason Roney of the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs a sole source award will be made.
