- This is a notice that the Government intends to award a contract to PsiTech Inc., 18368 Bandilier Circle, Fountain Valley, CA 92708 for High Speed Camera Interface and Disk Storage System. PsiTech is the designer and manufacturer of the first Genera tion system (the PsiTech Sirocco DIMS). Improvements to the first Generation HSMM shall create the prototype for the second Generation HSMM, the PsiTech Sirocco DIMS 2.1. This shall be accomplished by using appropriate first Generation HSMM components re deployed for use in the next second Generation HSMM system. The item must be compatible with existing system and it must meet stringent computational and size requirements. PsiTech has proprietary rights on the design and is the only known source that ca n meet our requirement. Other than full and open competition will be used under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirement. This notice is not a request for quotations. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties must respond by COB 04 Aug 2004. See note 22.
