- The purpose of this Amendment is to change the quantity of the Equipment Enclosures (8 feet wide X 20 feet long X 8 feet high) from 5 each to 3 each. The delivery requirement for the 3 Equipment Enclosures will be no later than six weeks after award of contract. The following clarifications are provided. The contractor will not be responsible for providing a crane, operator, supervision, and rigging (spreader bar, straps, etc.) for off loading. The crane and operator will be provided by the governmen t for the off loading. Delete the following requirement: There may be no commercial power available at the time of installation, therefore, it is the responsibility of the contractor to provide the power needed for the equipment enclosure installation. De lete the following requirement: The equipment enclosure sites are located in very remote areas and are very difficult to reach. This area is accessible by two wheel drive vehicles, however passenger cars are not recommended. The possibility of being stuck in the sand and/or desert does not exist. The delivery of the Enclosures will now be on a paved road and off loaded by government provided crane and operator in a storage complex at the US Army Yuma Proving Ground. All other requirements remain the same. T he closing date for proposals still remains 4 August 2004 at Noon MST.
