- Description
- The project consists of drilling 3 inch diameter holes in an established pattern through the top of the abutment on the Upper Appleton Dam in Appleton, WI to stabalize the abutment walls. Cement grout will be pumped into the holes to fill voids and s eepage paths within the abutment wall. Additional holes will be drilled through the structure after the grouting procedure has been completed. These holes will contain tensioned reinforcing bars along with anchor grout. This procurement is unrestricted. T he North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237990. The estimated cost range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The soliciation will be available at www.Lre.usace.army.mil on or about 18 August 2004.
