- Contract consists of providing all labor, equipment, and material necessary to modify the existing channel by excavating and reshaping the channel and armoring the side slopes and channel bottom with various combinations of riprap, riprap deflector s tructures, erosion control mat, and gabion gravity walls. Work also includes modification of a sanitary sewer line, installation of concrete flared end sections on existing storm sewer lines, plantings, and landscaping of selected areas. In addition, the project will include the installation of sediment and erosion controls, clearing and grubbing, and dewatering. Solicitation documents will be available on the web page on or about 02 September 2004. Completion time is 270 calendar days. Estimated cost range of the project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990 (SIC 1629) with a size standard of $28.5 million. Hard copies of the amendments will not be furnished. It is the contractors responsibility to monitor the web page for any amendments to this solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the DODs Central Contractor Registration database as required by DFARS 204.7300 and comply with VETS 100 annual reporting as required by FAR 22.1310 (b) prior to award. Instructions will be included in the Solicitation. Liquidated damages w ill be specified. Davis Bacon rates will be applicable to the construction and bonding is required. Please review all bonds and accompanying documents required to be submitted. This procurement is advertised as unrestricted.
