- Description
- The National Park Service is soliciting competitive bids for a fixed-price supply contract to deliver beach compatible sand and Rip Rap Rock to DeSoto National Memorial, located in Bradenton, Florida. The price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. The work of this contract is to supply and deliver approximately 1,260 tons of beach compatible sand and approximately 500 tons of 12" to 24" Rip Rap Rock. Due to the location and the sensitivity of the park grounds, vehicles used in this operation will be limited in weight, not to exceed 40,000 GVW. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available at the http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about August 17, 2004. Telephone requests for this package will not be accepted - copies of the quote must be received in this office by 4:30 p.m. on the closing date: August 27, 2004. The Government requests the offerors to submit a firm-fixed bid for each line item. Award will be a firm fixed price. (See solicitation for detail of specification). A single award will be made. Contractor must register in the CCR (Contractor Central Registration) to receive the award. The web site for CCR is http://www.ccr.gov.
