- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Anteon Corporation, Panama City, FL for the Hydraulic Lift Mechanism, Part Number 2000, qty two (2) and Logistics Support. The Hydraulic Lift Mechanisms were specifically designed to attach to the MH-60S ESSS fitting on the port side of the helicopter. The Hydraulic Lift Mechanisms must be compatible with the common console and the CSTRS winch from the aircraft. The proposed acquisition is for Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) for which the Government does not own drawings or specification. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See note 22.
