- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound is soliciting for Reagents to support Medical Diagnostic efforts in accordance with specifications to be provided in the solicitation. Reagents will be utilized in support of various Naval Hospitals and clinics through out Japan and Diego Garcia. These reagents are manufactured by the following: Immucor Gamma, Quidel, Beckton Dickinson, Kimberly Clark, Hematronix, Bayer Diagnostics, Fisher Scientific, Chase, Trinity Biotech, AMPCOR, PolyMed Co., Remel Inc., Ortho Clinical Diag., Pacific Hemotstasis, Biosite, Coflex, Medical Analysis, Biomeriux Vitek, Eppendorf, Simmler, Baxter Healthcare, Volusol, Smith Medical, Meridan Diagnostics, Strek Laboratories, Spectral Diagnostic, Hardy Diagnostics, PDI, Ballard Medical, Medi-Flex and Thermolab Systems. Quantity: Various. FOB Destination to the following locations; Naval Hospital, Yokosuka, Branch Medical Clinic Atsugi, Branch Medical Iwakuni, Branch Medical Clinic Sasebo Japan and Health Services Department Diego Garcia. Note: Items for Diego Garcia that require Refrigeration will be shipped to Naval Hospital Yokosuka marked for Diego Garcia in order to check/maintain temperature requirements. The period of performance will be from 1 October 2004 through 30 September 2005. The commercial solicitation, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR part 12 and 13.5, will be issued on or about 10 August 2004 with a closing date of 20 August 2004. Per FAR 5.203(h), the solicitation closing date has been reduced to 18 days from this announcement. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO)WEB link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from www.neco.navy.mil and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An e-mail request to glenn.labarge@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experience problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. Please do not call with questions regarding the posting of the solicitation on NECO until after posting date, 10 August 2004. This office will maintain no bidder list. No paper copies of the RFQ/ amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
