Description

Notice of intent to issue a contract to Global Insight, Inc dba DRI-WEFA, Inc.of Waltham, MA to provide the Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA) with a one-year subscription for the Basic U.S. Regional Service and Comprehensive Regional Dataport, which will include on-line access to DRI regional forecast databases and U.S. Regional Review publications. These data will augment general economic and population statistics in the Recruit Market Information System (RMIS) and provide additional information for recruiting operations. Deliverables: Deliverables are valid for one-year after start of contract to include: Basic U.S. Regional Service data, including U.S. Regional Overview and Review publication, and DRI?s comprehensive Regional Dataport (Department-wide). On-line Access The proposed contract will have a one-year performance period. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The RFP number is assigned for administration purposes only and no solicitation document exists. If no responses which meet the Government?s requirements are received within 5 calendar days after publication of this synopsis, a contract will be placed without further notice.
