- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for Pigment Magetic Black Iron Oxide (50 pounds bag) to be in accordance with Bureau of Engraving and Printing specification no. PG: BIO-1E dated: May 03, 2000. Quantity: 25000 LBS. Vendor to provide certificate of analysis or certificate of conformance and results of inspection for each batch or lot in shipment. Fax or mail original certification to Bureau of Engraving and Printing contact person: copy of certification with shipment. Bureau of Engraving and Printing contact: Ike Gallagher 202-874-3092, fax 202-874-8368, Room 105-3A. ALL INTERESTED VENDORS MAY REQUEST A COPY OF SPECIFICATION NO. PG: BIO-1E PLEASE CALL 202-874-2318. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is unrestricted with regard to business size. The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 325998, with a small business size standard is 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-04-0683. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Deliver terms are F.O.B. Destination to Bureau of Engraving & Printing, 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth TX 76131. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price. All interested small business is requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS numbers, size status (that is, small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on August 13, 2004. Quotations may be mailed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Procurement, Attn: Rosa Lee, 14th and C Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228-001 or faxed to Rosa Lee at 202-874-3135.
