- THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO REVIEW AND PRINT ON THE FEDBIZOPPS WEB SITE IN APPROXIMATELY 3 DAYS. SPRUCE CREEK TIMBER STAND EXAM. The Forest Service proposes to contract for technical forestry services to conduct the field phase of a stand exam project. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, supervision, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), incidentals, and perform all work necessary to conduct stand examinations in compliance with terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of this solicitation. Work will consist of locating, establishing, measuring and recording data for sample points. The project is located on the Cascade Ranger District of the Boise National Forest. The District Office is located in Cascade Idaho, approximately 75 miles north of Boise on Highway 55. McCall is 30 miles to the north of Cascade. The project area is in the Spruce Creek area, approximately 14 air miles northeast of Cascade, and is approximately a 1 to 1 ½ hour drive. NAICS code: 115310; size standard: $6.0 Million. Estimated start date is July 1, 2004 with 90 days for completion. See numbered note #1.
