- Description
- The U. S. Coast Guard Aircraft Repair and Supply Center is requesting industry information on a potential interior reconfiguration and refurbishment of one HU25 (militarized version of the Falcon 20) aircraft. This is a Request For Information (RFI) only. It is not a Request For Proposals (RFP) or an indication that the Coast Guard will contract for this program. This RFI requests, ROM cost, and schedule information to reconfigure the HU-25 interior for VIP transport. The scope of this RFI includes; refurbishing /replacing interior upholstery and seating, installation of head and small galley area, replace carpet, curtains and cabinetry and install compatible executive in-flight telephone system. The phone system must be identical to the phone system installed in Coast Guard C-37A aircraft, (Teledyne Magnastar and a STE Model 9505 Iridium system) to allow complete familiarity of use to USCG and Department of Homeland Security Executives. The information obtained will be used to develop a strategy to maximize operational effectiveness and minimize Total Ownership Cost of providing contingent executive transportation to the Department of Homeland Security executives. Interested parties should provide relevant information on the potential executive interior reconfiguration to include to include material type, weight, layout of seating and workspace for 9-10 people, lighting and ventilation fixtures, galley, head and installation of integrated Satellite phone, facsimile, and entertainment system. All work must be IAW with best aviation commercial practices, in compliance with FAA Federal Aviation Administration regulations and approved practices, and in compliance with applicable laws regarding environmentally friendly products and procedures. Budgetary pricing this RFI is requested no later than __(30 days). Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with this RFI. All information received in response to this announcement will be kept confidential and will not be returned. Additionally, the ARSC HU25 Product Line may request potential respondents to give presentations, provide their solutions, or gather feedback at our facility. The HU25 aircraft or interior photographs may be made available for inspection and evaluation through appointment made with the HU-25 Product Line representative.
