Description

NOTE: This synopsis was originally advertised on Aug 12, 2004 as Solicitation Number HSCGG1-04-B-3WK215. The solicitation number has been changed to HSCGG1-05-B-3WK004 and issues 9/1/04. ISSUE DATE: 09/01/04. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to perform life safety & building code compliance work at Coast Guard Group Portland Maine, South Portland, ME (Cumberland County). The work includes: removal of interior partitions, doors, and windows; install asphalt paving, granite curbing, topsoil and seeding, concrete foundations, one three-story, steel-framed exterior stair tower, EPDM roofing, windows, doors, partitions, carpet, ceramic tile flooring, suspended ceilings, heating and ventilation systems upgrades, power and lighting renovation and upgrades; and incidental related work. The estimated cost range of this project is $100,000 to $250,000. Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the bid opening/closing date. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 09/01/04. The due date for receipt of bids is scheduled for 10/01/04 at 2:00 pm. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR Part 19, and is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 and the size standard is $28.5 million.
