Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to award a sole source contract to Innovative Technologies Inc., 4115 Pleasant Valley Road, Suite 800, Chantilly, VA 20151, for the engineering design, parts and labor necessary to execute the design and installation of the Defense Information System Agency Personal Information Notification System (PINS). Innovative Technologies Inc. (ITI) will use the same proven and tested equipment with the same user interface for operation as the other DISA buildings that already have PINS. By using ITI?s design approach, DISA will have the best system design, system maintenance, and equipment compatibility between all buildings. The period of performance is expected to be from the effective date of contract award through 180 days for an estimated $394,000.00. The Contract Security Classification Standard is at the SECRET level. The synopsis is a notice of intent to issue an award under ?other than full and open competition? and should not be considered a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2302 (c) (1) and is solely at the discretion of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 10 September 2004, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Award is anticipated on or about 24 September 2004.
