Description
Battelle Memorial Institute, Pacific Northwest Division, operator of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) for the U. S. Department of Energy, is seeking proposals for low temperature or ceramic stabilization technologies for possible use in the DOE complex as alternatives to conventional waste immobilization technologies, e. g. vitrification, Portland cement based grouts, etc. Simulated surrogate waste streams will be provided to Contractors. A Contractor will prepare test specimens for evaluation using its technology for application to the target simulated waste stream. Firms capable of performing the services may request a copy of the Request For Proposal from James A. Anderson by sending a fax to 509-372-6800 or e-mail request to james.anderson@pnl.gov. Please specify your mailing address, including your street address. Also, provide your phone and fax numbers.
