- Description
- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) requires that this Canopy System must be free standing and supported outside the 60? X 50? X10? (L-W-H) footprint of the exercise area structure. The Canopy System must meet the specifications set forth by the MBMA- (Metal Building Manufactures Assoc) and the AISC- (American Institute of Steel Construction). The Canopy itself will be a 2/12 pitch and at least 26guage ribbed galvanized aluminum and galvanized fasteners will be utilized in the construction process. Concrete footers will be poured to support the Canopy System and the system itself must be able to withstand a 120mph wind gust. Additionally, there must be a 1? vertical standoff of the Canopy System from the outer Blast Wall and a 4? vertical standoff from the outer wall of the reusable cells (see attached drawing) and (see attached statement of work). The following provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders?Commercial Items.This announcement is the only solicitation to be issued. The NAICS code is 236210. ATF will award this requirement on an all or none basis. This is a small business set aside. If no small businesses respond to this requirement, then all companies will be accepted. Award will be made to the offeror based on best value in the order of technical capability, past performance and price for the government. Award will be based on meeting the technical specifications listed within the statement of work on an All or None basis, and the best value to the government. The government may elect to pay a cost premium to select an offeror whose ratings on non-cost evaluation factors (e.g. technical quality and past performance) are superior. A ?premium? is defined as the cost difference between the lowest evaluated cost of a technically acceptable offer and a higher priced offer deemed to be superior from a Technical Quality and / or Past Performance standpoint. This award will be made utilizing simplified acquisitions and procedures under FAR Subpart 13.5. Quotes must include price, best delivery time, and product literature information.
