Description
The purpose of this notice is to remove Item 2, Augmentor Nozzle Supports, in its entirety. There is not a current requirement for the repair of this item. The solicitation issued will address only Item 1, Combustion Chamber Liner Assys. Additionally, the anticipated solicitation issue date and the anticipated award date is revised as follows: 24SEP04 and 24NOV04, respectively. The USAF will issue an RFP for the repair of two Augmentor items. The contractor will furnish all required labor, direct material, parts, facilities, test equipment and services to accomplish repair/overhaul/remanufacture and modification, test, packaging, preservation and return of each item in completely serviceable condition. The solicitation will be issued electronically through the FEDBIZOPS website. A firm-fixed price, Requirements contract with a one-year basic and 4 one-year option ordering periods will be issued. Item 1: Combustion Chamber Liner Assy applicable to the F100PW200/220/220E engine; Output NSN: 2840-01-443-4069NZ; P/N: 4083170; Predominant material: Cobalt Base Alloy; Size/Dimensions: Approx 58 inches long. Form/Fit/Function: The combustion chamber liner encloses the combustion area and protects the augmentor duct from high gas temperatures. Delivery: As specified in each individual order. Estimated quantities: Basic year-632, option 1-620, option 2-555, option 3: 436, option 4-382. Government?s Delivery Schedule: basic year: 53 per month, option 1: 52 per month, option 2: 46 per month, option 3: 37 per month, option 4: 32 per month. Item 2: Nozzle Segment applicable to the F100PW200/220/220E engine; Output NSN: 2840-01-501-0121NZ or 2840-01-456-0083NZ or 2840-01-003-9017NZ; P/N: 4086906-01 or 4082987 or 4044892, respectively. Predominant material: Titanium alloy; Size/Dimensions: Approx. 58 inches long; Form/Fit/Function: The augmentor nozzle support is a housing that provides attaching locations for installing actuators, synchronizing ring and other related hardware to operate the nozzle assembly. Delivery: As specified in each individual order. Estimated quantities: Basic Year: 265 each, Option 1: 110 each, Option 2: 75 each, Option 3: 120 each, Option 4: 600 each. Government?s Delivery Schedule: basic year: 22 per month, option 1: 10 per month, option 2: 7 per month, option 3: 10 per month, option 4: 50 per month. Anticipated solicitation issue date: 12JUL04. Anticipated award date: 30SEP04. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved and qualified IAW with the Qualification Requirements.
