- The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB, CA, is soliciting offers to purchase Target Retrieval System in accordance with the specifications described below. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation reference number is F1SFTS41770400 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation.. This solicitation incorporates Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18. The target retrieval system needs to be installed at the Combat Arms Training range. It will consist of 27-(25 meter) monorail systems, 27-Lighted Carriers (continuous-360 rotation/random edging), 1-Master control console w/ enclosure, 6-Local control screens complete with mounting enclosures, 1-Host mounting panel, 27-Drive units, 27-Clamp target holders, 27-Cable tension assembly units, 27-cooper buss bar assemplies, 1-lot monorail suspension brackets, 1-lot - 1/2inch threaded rod hangar bolts, 1-lot-data cable and hardware, and 1 year limited warranty. Price will include system, shipping and installation. Delivery date needs to be coordinated at least two weeks prior to delivery, so the requiring activity can arrive alternate firing location. Installation must start the day of delivery. All equipment must be delivered and installed by the supplier. Installer must remove all packaging materials. ***Special Note: Funds are not presently available for this request. The Government's obligation for this request is contingent upon the availability of end-of-year appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this request and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.*** The provision at FAR 52.212-1-- Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items (Oct 2000) apply to this acquisition.
