- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constit utes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is W912JB-04-T-2018, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses as those in ef fect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 2001-24 and Defense Acquisition Circular Number 91-9, 20040625 Edition. This solicitation is set aside for small business only and award will be made based on Best Value to the Government considering requir ements listed below. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339999 with small business standard of 500 employees or less. Description of commodity: Line Item 0001/22 each Canopy cover designed to cover windshield, side win dow and nose of the Sikorsky UH60 Blackhawk. The cover attaches to the airframe in four locations. At the lower corners on either side, straps attach to the landing gear struts. Above the corners, on either side, straps attach to the ring tie downs on t he side of the fuselage aft of the cockpit doors. These straps are secured and tightened with non-metal, durable Delrin buckles, sewn onto the cover at the attach points. Must have pockets sewn into cover to accommodate temperature probe placements. For est Green in color. Medium weight nylon treated for ultraviolet resistance and anti-static buildup. Canopy should be able to fold up to compactly and weigh no more then 15 pounds. Line Item 0002/11 Sets Engine intake/exhaust cover set. Made of hea vy duty industrial grade coated nylon, the intake cover fits over the intake area, hooking onto the beavertail in the front. Each cover snaps onto two snap head screws placed in existing screw holes. The exhaust cover installs in the same fashion as the intake it would also snapping onto two snap head screws which are placed in exiting screw holes on the airframe. Must fold up compactly and weigh 15 pounds or less.
