Description

The purpose of this synopsis is to amend synopsis posted on 15 Mar 04, to add time and material effort to fix SDD units in the U.S. basic requirement and add initial spares to the U.S. option requirement. No other changes are being made. The Governm ent plans to procure 65 each Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight (MTADS)/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (PNVS) Arrowhead Upgrade Kits, kit installation, spares, training, time and material effort to fix SDD units, and upgrades to the Apache Training Device Suites (Lot 2); Option (Lot 2) quantity of 72 each Arrowhead Upgrade Kits, initial spares, and replenishment spares. In addition, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) may be bought under this contract subject to Letter of Acceptance approval. The Governm ent intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Lockheed Martin, Missiles and Fire Control, Orlando, FL, under the authority and Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one source or a limited nu mber of responsible sources will satisfy agency requirements. There is no technical data package. Interested sources are encouraged to identify themselves in writing to the Contracting Officer, Sarah Kerry, AMSAM-AC-AP-B. All responsible sources may sub mit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. See numbered notes(s): 22, 23, and 26.
