Description
CONTACT INFO: To order a CD, interested firms must register via the Walla Walla District web page at (http://www.nww.usace.army.mil/ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp). It is requested that registration be confirmed with a fax to Patti Record, Contrac t Specialist, at 509-527-7802. The government cannot guarantee a bidder will be added to the bidders list if registration is not confirmed via fax to the above fax number. DESCRIPTION: SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. This solicitation will be issued on or about September 14, 2004. The Walla Walla District, Corps of Engineers, intends to award a firm-fixed price construction contract. Construct two reinforced concrete parapet walls. One on the right training wall and one on the left training wall of the spillway basin. Walls are 10 feet high by length of training wall. Approximately 90 cubic yards of concrete for both walls. Metalwork fabrication of two viewing platforms. Platforms are located 6-6 abov e the concrete deck and have steel stairs and handrails. Remove two electric operated winches and gate lifting equipment. Fabricate 30 precast concrete stoplogs and install them in place of the removed gates. Electrical work consists of relocating elect rical conduit and conductors before constructing the wall. ADMIN INFO: The estimated cost range for this job is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1629 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990. For the purpose of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $28,500,000. This is a set aside procurement in accordance wit h HUBZone set-aside procedures and FAR 19.1305. All responsible HUBZone business sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
