Description

THIS SYSNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order, on an other than full and open competition basis, against Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-03-G-0039, with Chadwick-Helmuth a Business Unit of Honeywell International Incorporate, El Monte, California, to procure T-56 Series Engine and Propeller support, and provide training for, the Chadwick 8500C+ and VXP Balancer/Analyzer Systems which reside in the T-56 Engine. Since Chadwick-Helmuth is the sole manufacturer for the Chadwick 8500C+ and VXP Balancer/Analyzer Systems, it is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, and proprietary technical data necessary to perform this effort. Responses to this notice of intent to negotiate with Chadwick-Helmuth should be submitted no later than 15 days from the date of this synopsis to Ms. Tara Flores, Contract Specialist, at 301-757-2536 or tara.flores@navy.mil.
