- This posting is to inform potential providers that Dover Air Force Base; Delaware has a requirement for two (2) Nitrogen Trailers. This will be the only notification of such requirements The primary requirement: Two (2) Nitrogen Trailers, NSN: 3655-00-111-3880 or equal item; DESCRIPTION: Cylinder Mounting Position Horizontal; Drawbar Type Coupler Type: Lunette; Drawbar Type Rigid A-Frame; Media For Which Designed- Nitrogen; Included are Parking Brake, Retractable Support, Twoing Pintle Hook, and Transfer Pump; Wheel Arrangement Style 49 Front Tricycle, rear, single; Special Features one pivot wheel in front and two inflatable tires in rear. MOBILITY DATA: Tire Type (main wheels) Pneumatic; Tire Size (main wheels) 6.90 x 9; Tire Ply (main wheels) 6; Tire Pressure (main wheels) 65; Tire Type (retractable) Solid; Maximum Towing Speed (rough terrain) 10 MPH; Maximum Towing Speed (paved surface) 30 MPH; Adjustable Height of Lunette by Means of Parking Jack 12 to 26 inches; Braking System Manual (parking only); Tie-Down Rings 4. NITROGEN EQUIPMENT: Nitrogen Cylinders 8; Nitrogen Cylinders Type ICC 3AA 3500; Purifier: TYPE MB-1; Purifier Cartridge TYPE MA-1 or MA-2; Pressure Regulator: Approximate Flow Capacity 5000 CFM, Outlet Pressure Setting 0-6000 PSIG. ENVIRONMENTAL LIMITS: Temperature (operating) - -65 to +130 degrees F.; Moisture- Freezing Rain or Salt Air; Sand and Dust Dust particles encountered in normal and desert operation. These items must be delivered and invoiced by 24 September 2004. The details of contract: Only small businesses are eligible for award. The North American Industry Classification system code is 336212. The business must have less than 500 employees to be considered small business. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database and provide the 436 Contracting Office with Commercial Reps and Certs (52.212-3 Alt I) upon winning the contract.
