Description

The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries for follow on services for surveillance, monitoring and management of right whales in the Cape Cod Bay. The proposed contract action will continue ongoing management of habitat and conditions that impact right whales, including entanglement and ship strikes. The statutory authority for this action is 41 U.S.C.253(c)(3), Research Capability. The anticipated performance period is for one year from the date of award.
