- Description
- The Air Force (AF) Electronic Systems Center Human Resources Command and Control (ESC/HRC2) System Program Office (SPO) seeks a long-term partner with the capability to: (1) SUSTAIN SYSTEMS: Sustain the Oracle 10.7/8i based Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS) and complimentary Human Resources (HR) service delivery systems; and technically refresh AF unique HR legacy systems onto more supportable software and/or hardware where cost effective. (2) INTEGRATE FUNCTIONALITY: Integrate required AF legacy HR service delivery functionalities with the AF Virtual Personnel Center (vPC), the Defense Integrated Military Human Resources System (DIMHRS), and the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS). (3) DEVELOPMENT FUTURE HR CAPABILITIES: Rapidly design, develop, test and deploy new HR capabilities satisfying unmet user requirements. (4) TRANSITION SYSTEMS: Transition all (legacy and new) service delivery systems onto platform(s) which support DIMHRS delivery systems and all AF unique delivery systems that are not delivered by DIMHRS. AF unique delivery systems may migrate to DIMHRS and the platform shall support a rapid transition. The tentative timeline for the acquisition of Personnel Service Delivery Support (PSDS) is Request For Proposals (RFP) in October 2004; and contract award(s) in January 2005. The expected acquisition funding ceiling for this project is expected to exceed $100 million over a five (5) year period.
