Description

USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) propose to issue a sole source award to Odom Hydrographic Systems Incorporation for a Densitune/Silas Subbottom Sediment Characterization System to provide density profiles of navigation channels containing unconsolidated bottom materials, and to acquire and analyze digital subbottom data from a bathymetric survey system for broad area mapping of subsea structures and sediment characteristics. This subbottom characterization system must complemen t the existing bathymetric survey system currently used by the Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory and map subbottom sediment density characteristics from acoustic reflection data. A firm fixed price purchase order will be awarded utilizing the Simplified A cquisition Procedures. Any other responsible source able to provide the referenced system above is encouraged to respond to this announcement by September 10, 2004. This is not a request for quotations and therefore no solicitation is available
